First Thursdays 

Thursday 2 February and 2 March, 7pm In conjunction with late night gallery openings across East London, during exhibitions Chisenhale Gallery is open until 9pm on the first Thursday of each month. These evenings coincide with two of Alex Baczynski - Jenkins’ Episodes: The symptom on Thursday 2 February and The hole together on Thursday 2 March, both of which start at 7pm.

Admission is free and no booking is required. The gallery has limited capacity and visitors will be admitted on a first-come-first-served basis. Please click here to see the dates and times of the Episodes and Fugues.

Chisenhale Gallery is located between Bethnal Green and Mile End.

From the West End and Central London take the Central Line to Bethnal Green or Mile End (journey time Oxford Circus to Bethnal Green approximately 20 mins).

From West London and the City of London take the District Line.

From Bethnal Green station the gallery is a 12 minute walk or take the 8 or D6 busses.

From Mile End station the gallery is a 10 minute walk or take the 277, 425, 339 or D6 busses.

Pay and display parking bays are available on Kenilworth Road, Vivian Road and Zealand Road which run off Chisenhale Road.

Cycle Hire
A docking station for cyle hire scheme bikes is situated at the far of Chisenhale Road, adjacent to Old Ford Road. Further docking stations are also available at Bethnal Green and Mile End Stations. Click here for a map of local docking stations.
