Current Chisenhale Gallery Benefactors

Chisenhale Gallery has enabled the realisation of major works by an international array of world-renowned artists, often establishing careers through timely solo commissions, most recently with Daniel Sinsel, Janice Kerbel and Jospehine Pryde and  in the 1990s with artists such as Rachel Whiteread, Cornelia Parker, Gillian Wearing, Sam Taylor-Wood and Wolfgang Tillmans. Our education programme is award winning and our outreach into the local community continues to expand. Friends, Patrons and Founding Patrons have an opportunity to participate directly by enabling the production of artist’s projects and thereby guaranteeing the continuation of this now legendary art space.

Chisenhale Gallery commissions up to five exhibitions a year alongside a programme of interim events and accompanied by an extensive education and community outreach programme. Chisenhale Gallery is a registered charity and part of Arts Council England's National Portfolio. The exhibitions, events and education programme are fundraised for in entirety through funding bodies, trusts and foundations, individuals and corporate sponsorship. We often collaborate with arts agencies and other organisations to co-produce projects.

The current economic climate means we have never needed individual support more. All funds go directly into supporting artists to produce new work and the aim is to provide opportunities for Friends, Patrons and Founding Patrons to contribute to the sustainable support of Chisenhale Gallery’s future as well as being a key part of that community.

Your support is greatly valued and appreciated and as a small-scale organisation we offer a close and engaged relationship with all the gallery’s activities. In recognition of benefactors’ support we can offer a range of benefits and activities detailed below. The most significant benefit is supporting the development of the artistic programme itself.
