CHISENHALE GALLERY INTERNS 2007

Applications for current internships are now closed. Details of future internships will be posted here soon.

Chisenhale Gallery's popular Internship Programme provides hands on training in arts management and a comprehensive overview of gallery operations. Interns work with all staff on tasks arising, with a clearly defined role and set of duties.

The Internship Programme is open to five Interns a year. The Intern is based and trained at the gallery full-time for a period of ten weeks and paid a basic fee. The Internship starts before an exhibition opens, and finishes after it closes, allowing for an overview of the whole process of exhibition-making from fundraising, promotion, installation and de-installation, access and audience development.

Chisenhale Gallery operates an Equal Opportunities Policy and welcomes and encourages applications from a broad and diverse background.

We encourage those interested in this opportunity to volunteer on projects at Chisenhale Gallery before applying for the position. Volunteers gain valuable experience on promotion, installation and event organisation - they will also get to know the gallery team and how the organisation operates.
