EDUCATION > EDUCATION PROGRAMME AT CHISENHALE GALLERY Chisenhale Gallery offers an innovative programme of artist-led workshops and projects for community groups and Schools.
Chisenhale Gallery’s education policy combines the development of the skills and experience of artists with a programme of projects seeking to remove barriers that prevent individuals and groups from gaining full access to contemporary visual art.
Opportunities are generated for audiences to participate in and engage with critical thinking through artist-led workshops and outreach projects that interact with the exhibition programme and provide access to contemporary artists and artistic practice.
The gallery works with local community groups and organisations (including housing associations and community arts centres) the elderly, student artists, teachers, support staff, community workers, artists, and primary and secondary school pupils (including PRUs and SEN schools).
