Seeking to foster community cohesion, all projects adopt an approach that positions the gallery as a local resource where people are given opportunities to engage with contemporary practice through the agency of contemporary practitioners. Built up around individual projects is a network of community advocates and partnership organisations that support the community in visiting the gallery. Community partners include: The East End WI, Tower Hamlets Youth Offending Team, Tower Hamlets College, The Bromley by Bow Centre, local schools, Community Music Festival, Bow Arts Festival, Whitechapel Gallery, Space–Triangle, Bow Arts Trust, Arts Admin, Institute of education and engage.
