You’re the Boss: Pilot
February 2007
Artist Marysa Dowling ran the first You’re the Boss project. The young people looked at photographic portraiture - hand gestures, clothes and poses - as a means of communication. The sessions progressed into exploring intervention on posters as a way of changing what is being communicated, and setting instructions for other people to follow. The aim was for the young people to experience a variety of methods for communicating through visual art in order to plan and deliver a community event.

The first project was funded by the Peabody Trust and Local Area Network Fund.
